I did this for the September WICKED color challenge on Splitcoast Stampers. I guess that I'm not very patriotic because I don't seem to use red, white and blue too much! I also figured that I'd use Just Beclause, since I'd mistakenly ordered it from the mini. I'm glad that I did, though, because it's ultra-cute! I layered Rose Red, Night of Navy, Brocade Blue and White. I color embossed with the Textured Impressions Petals-a-Plenty folder with Brocade Blue, then die-cut it with the Top Note. Stamps: Just Beclause Paper: Rose Red, Night of Navy, Brocade Blue, White Ink: Brocade Blue, Night of Navy, Bashful Blue, Rose Red, Bravo Burgundy, Blush Blossom, Pretty in Pink, More Mustard, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip, Handsome Hunter, Sahara Sand Accessories: Big Shot, Textured Impressions Petals-a-Plenty folder, ticket-corner punch, brads and oval frame from antique pewter HPH, 1" stitched Rose Red grosgrain, white taffeta ribbon, navy 1/4" grosgrain, dimensionals, aquapainter Techniques: watercolor |
