Here is a second sympathy card that I worked up using Young Vermilion, Artisan Accents doilies and the old Build a Brad.  I don't know why SU! doesn't keep the Build a Brad in the catalog, because I love that product!

All product used is SU!, unless otherwise noted.

Stamps:  Young Vermilion

Paper:  Vanilla, Not Quite Navy, Bravo Burgundy, Print Poetry dsp stack

Ink:  Black, Creamy Caramel, Sahara Sand, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip, Not Quite Navy, Regal Rose, Smoky Slate, Basic Gray

The December issue of the Paper Crafters Sample is available!!

Winters frigid days have crept in while our attentions were focused on the gift-giving holiday.  Soon our surroundings will be transformed from brightly-colored holiday lights to neutral colors of the winter season.

Our December issue celebrates beautifully muted colors of the season.   The bases of the projects are inspired by woody bark and snow-covered, leaf-less trees.  Insert a splash of color from the winter cardinal, glistening snowflakes or sparkling icicles and you have a “Naturally Winter” issue.

Snowflake Spinner card

I'd heard all about the Thinlits Circle die card and how to make a spinner, so I thought that I'd give it a try.  I watched Diane Dimich's fabulous video tutorial on using the Thinlits cards to get me started.  I'd played with the card die before watching her video and gave up after one try.  I was very happy with the results once I saw her tutorial, though!

I did Diane's version with the extended flap and played around with the snowflake spinner until I got it right.  I highly recommend her video tutorial to everyone!!
