May 2013 Paper Crafters Sampler!

NEW Wildflower Meadow!

I love this new background stamp, Wildflower Meadow!  There is a matching embossing folder to go with this, but I liked the watercolor-like look after I stamped this out on white card stock that I was afraid to mess with it.  Instead, I popped up the two large Pretty in Pink/Rose Red flowers on Dimensionals and made a small Daffodil Delight flower with the Simply Pressed molds and clay.  I can already tell that I'm going to love that stuff!  A hint once you've pressed your colored clay into the molds -- put the molds in the freezer for about an hour.  It makes it easier to pop out the flower without changing their shape.

NEW Label Love!

Here's my first attempt with Label Love and the Gingham Garden dsp. Love the new colors! The new Gingham Garden dsp and washi tapes are very cool, as well.  I love the fresh look of Strawberry Slush and Pistachio Pudding together, too.

Stampin' Up Regional in Baltimore, MD!

It's been so long since I've had time to post here.  I've been madly working on swaps for the Stampin' Up Regional in Baltimore, Maryland, as well as my other commitments, and just haven't had the time to work on anything personal.

Going to Regionals was really a terrific experience -- so many gorgeous swaps and samples to look at!  The new goodies that we got to have a sneak peek at are really exciting.  I can't tell you about them but, trust me, you're going to love them!!

EASTER MORN -- FEBRUARY 2013

Happy Easter!

I'd received a Christmas card from my upline, Linda MacPherson, using this template years ago and decided that I'd give it a try.  It's a very simple template.  I cut a piece of dsp at 8 1/2" x 5 1/2".  Make a  5" cut on the 2" in from right hand side of the cs, 1 1/4" inches from the bottom and ending 2 1/4" from the top.  The folds from the left hand side will be at 1 1/4", 2 1/4", 3 1/4" 4 1/4" and 6 1/2".  The rest is up to you!

I used the cloud pattern from the Sunshine & Sprinkles dsp.  I made the grass by running strips of Lucky Limeade in the Perfect Polka Dot folder through the Big Shot, then I "snipped" the edge of grass with my scissors. I watercolored the bunnies and punched out the flowers with the flower punch from the Itty Bitty punch pack.
