New toys!

This is the first card that I've made using a new product from the new catty.  I love the vintage feel of the World Spectacular dsp and the You're Amazing set.  The new little Dahlias are ultra-cute, too!  I'm going to have to get some more of them -- I can tell that already!

New colors!

Here's my first try with the new colors.  It ended up being not what I wanted and a little too Christmasy for me.  Not my favorite, but I did it in a massive rush.  The new ink pads are to die for!

Beau Chateau Shabby

I tried to capture the texture of this card IRL, but couldn't quite get it with my photo.  The top Marina Mist layer was embossed with the Square Lattice and the Oval Designer Frames Textured Impressions embossing folders.  I then ran the in-line pearls from Basic Pearl Jewels around the outer embossed oval, creating the frame for the garland.
