PCS Easter Blessings!

The issue of the 2012 Sampler release is upon us.  We're bringing back another issue based soley on Easter projects.  On February 10th, the "Easter Blessings" will showcases baskets, bunnies and pastel themed projects to coincide with spring colors.

Saturday Sketch Challenge #241

I played with this weeks' Stamping 411 Saturday Sketch Challenge by turning it on it's side and using a heart instead of a mirrored, offset behind the gnome image.  I hadn't used my Gnome Sweet Gnome set yet, but really like it.  Using it, I started to get all sorts of cute ideas for future projects!

I've been playing around with a couple of new things today.  I got Language of Friendship for SAB ad a my friend, Melanie Schulenberg, sent me a set of Attic Boutique side notes.  I'm not very good at mix-and-match, so I thought that I'd see what I could put together -- I'm very happy with the result!

Tea Shoppe!

This is my first effort with the Tea Shoppe set from the Occasions Mini.  I have a hard time composing with images that aren't watercolored, but I figure that you can't go wrong with pearls!  The tea cup is heat embossed with white Craft and white detail ep.

Saturday Sketch Challenge #240

This is a very loose interpretation of this weeks' Saturday Sketch Challenge over at Stamping 411.  I really had good intentions to work something up with two sizes of label Framelits and this is what I ended up with. 

Things you can't see:  The outside edge of the floral image has been watercolored with Soft Suede to set the image off.  The outer edge of the Vanilla frame and the larger split layers are sponged with Soft Suede.  A white gel pen makes nice highlight on the floral image, which is also lightly sprayed with Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spray.
