Ruffles and Spiderwebs

I layered Black, Pumpkin Pie and a sheet from the Nite Owl ds. The floating Black layer was run through the Big Shot in the Spider Web Textured Impressions folder. I love the designs of the Nite Owl ds, but I've found that the cut edges are very, very white and ragged looking. The edges need to be sponged -- usually with Black.

Ink: Black, More Mustard, Pumpkin Pie, Summer Sun, Old Olive, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip

Wicked Shabby

I layered Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, Peach Parfait, Vanilla, Newsprint ds. The Peach Parfait layer was color embossed by running it through the Finial Press Textured Impressions folder with Peach Parfait ink.

The sentiment was masked off the Midnight Musings wheel. I stamped it in Chocolate Chip craft ink and clear embossed it.

Stamps: Midnight Musings, Dark & Dreary

Paper: Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, Peach Parfait, Vanilla, Newsprint ds

Ink: Craft: Chocolate Chip. Classic inks: Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip, More Mustard, Peach Parfait, Cajun Craze

Accessories: Big Shot, Finial Press Textured Impressions folder, Vintage brads, Flower Trio punch, Early Espresso 5/8" satin ribbon, Chantilly crochet trim, Dimensionals, sponges, Aquapainter, clear ep

Dead Man's Party!

I took the sentiment from a sheet of the Nite Owl ds. The raven image is embossed with black detail ep.  I was trying for a more shabby look -- which clearly didn't work! -- but like this more graphic feel.

Stamps: Dark & Dreary, Tiny Tags

Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Black, White, Nite Owl ds

Ink: Black, Versamark

Accessories: Black detail ep, black rhinestones, Black 1/4" grosgrain ribbon, mini library clip, Tiny Tag punch, Dimensionals

Midnight Musings

I layered Basic Black, Concord Crush, Pumpkin Pie and a pattern from the Nite Owl ds. The bottom panel is embossed with Black detail ep, using the rubbah from the Midnight Musings wheel.   I don't know about you all, but there is nothing that I hate more than using wheels!  So, I always dismount the rubbah and stamp it flat using the I acrylic block.  That way, I can make sure that I get the image inked and placed just where I want it.

The black lace is laid over Pumpkin Pie 5/8" satin ribbon, then over a 1" strip of Concord Crush card stock. The rose is also made with the Pumpkin Pie 5/8" satin ribbon. The frill under the rose medallion is made with black waffle paper, which was pleated, then trimmed with pinking shears.

Stamps: Midnight Musings

Paper: Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Concord Crush, Nite Owl ds

Ink: Basic Black, Versamark

Accessories:  Black waffle paper, Scallop Circle punch, 1" Circle punch, Ticket Corner punch, Raven 1/2" lace trim, Pumpkin Orange 5/8" satin ribbon, pinking shears, Black detail ep, Dimensionals, rhinestones, Sticky Sheets

PCS Treat Box!

I made this Treat Box from the FREE template available from the Paper Crafters Sampler. It's totally darling and so easy to make!

I layered Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black and various patterns from the Nite Owl ds. The sentiment is heat embossed with Detail Black ep, then cut out so that all the 'jags' show. I colored the exposed white around the frame with my Pumpkin Pie marker. I also embossed the '31' on Pumpkin Pie ds, punched it out and covered with with a clear token from the Build-a-Brad kit. I also used the Build-a-Brad kit to make the upper brad. I cut out the tiny skull, then glued it to a piece from the Nite Owl ds and covered it with a token.

Stamps: Dark & Dreary

Paper: Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Black, White, Nite Owl ds

Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Black Versa Mark

Accessories: Black detail ep, Black satin ribbon, dimensionals, clear window sheets, rhinestones, Build-a-Brad kit, Ticket-Corner punch, sponges
