Daffodil Beach Bike

I layered Early Espresso, Daffodil Delight, Vanilla and Greenhouse Gala ds. The Daffodil Delight layer is embossed using the Perfect Polka-Dots Textured Impressions folder. For the ribbon, I adhered one piece of Early Espresso to the top and bottom of the back of the Daffodil Delight ribbon, creating the illusion of a wider piece of Early Espresso ribbon.

Ink: Black, Daffodil Delight, More Mustard, Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand

I layered Not Quite Navy, Riding Hood Red, Early Espresso, Baja Breeze and the Newsprint ds. I color embossed the Baja Breeze layer using the Finial Press Textured Impressions folder coated with Baja Breeze ink.

I don't know which I love more....

... or the color combination!  I layered my fav new go-to color, Cherry Cobbler, with Early Espresso and a sheet from the Newsprint ds. As I'm in love with both the set, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso and Newsprint, you're going to be seeing a lot of this combo!

I created my own faux notebook paper with my Baja Breeze marker, a ruler and the spiral punch. I distressed my notebook paper by sponging Early Espresso around the edges, front and back, and by using the Log Cabin Smooch Spritz. The tiny brads in the corners are from the Vintage Trinkets.

Summer is always so busy....

Sorry that I've been out of pocket and haven't posted anything for the past couple of weeks, but with vacation, multiple camps and horse shows, I haven't had a bit of time.  As a matter of fact, I just placed my first order from the new Stampin' Up catalog today!  I'll try to get back to  stamping and post something next week, if possible.

In the meantime, here's my daughter on Beach Music at the USHJA National Hunter Classic in State College, PA last week.  I may not be stamping, but I do the braiding!
